What a day! After a week of truly “wild weather,” it’s incredibly calm here today. Amazingly, the cows, the bees, and these Ornamental Aristocrat Pears all seem pretty content.

These pears line the driveway, making for a fantastic avenue planting or a standout feature tree. They aren’t just a spring beauty; they’re also hardy, with a striking pyramidal shape and lush green foliage that turns a rich red and purple in autumn.

We’ve noticed a few trees around the nursery starting to emerge from their winter dormancy and bud up. Our almonds are a sight to behold, with their beautiful spring blossoms—and the bonus of delicious almonds in summer! Our Ornamental Pears are also beginning to flower, marking the start of the masses of white blooms they’ll produce throughout spring.
