Welcome to Urban Tree Growers, nestled in beautiful Ripplebrook, Gippsland—a family nursery rooted in a love for the outdoors and green living. For 25 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to nurturing quality trees and creating vibrant green spaces that inspire others to share our passion.

With two young children, we’re always thinking about the future—how our work can shape communities and foster a connection to nature. Join us in our journey as we grow trees for today and tomorrow, and meet the team making it all happen!

Our Beginnings

In 2001, three friends with a shared love for trees and a commitment to quality began growing on a fertile piece of land in Gippsland. These in-ground trees became known for their instant impact, and soon, Gippsland-grown trees found homes in award-winning estates across Australia.

Now in its second generation, Urban Tree Growers entered a new chapter when Chris, with his deep-rooted passion for trees and farming, joined Beth to lead the business forward. Responding to industry needs, they introduced a line of quality container-grown stock to meet demand while continuing the in-ground production in Ripplebrook’s rich soil.

With their young family, Chris and Beth’s vision is clear: to grow trees for Gippsland, for communities, for farms, and for our future.
